Hello! My name is Ashley and I am a designer based in the UK. My creative journey began about 5 years ago when I got my first Junior designer position for a babywear company and my passion for this area of design grew from there. Since then I have worked in the fashion industry as a commercial designer, both overseas and in the UK and enjoyed a very vibrant, varied career! I have worked for a number of companies within brand and retail, and have an extensive knowledge of the industry across product design and development, market analysis and trend.
The majority of my career has had me focusing on baby and childrenswear, but I have also worked across menswear, womenswear and sportswear, designing graphics and print as well as clothing.
I currently work in-house as a babywear designer for a large international design and clothing company and I divide my time between work, family, friends and a spot of dancing! I honestly don't think any other career could make me as happy as I am as a designer, it's who I am and I love it! I am passionate about making a long lasting career in the industry and becoming the best designer I can be. I love to learn and develop and challenges make me thrive!
I created this site as a way to reach out to other creatives out there, who share a passion for designing the way I do because for me designing is a hobby as well as a career! I don't work freelance but I am always happy to grab a coffee and talk about all things design, art and creative!
